Let me start off by saying how much i despised writing before this class. My past teachers always taught me to write using a super specific formula and it left me feeling like i didn't have a voice in my writing. In this class, i feel like i started to "find my voice" in my writing. I think this came about from learning about rhetoricity. i remember when we first were introduced to the concept of rhetoricity we watched a weird video and soul stared. i vividly remember thinking to myself "what the hell is going on". but eventually i think i got what it was. to me, rhetoricity was about how we communicate, that everything we do from body language, words, even just presents, sends a message. I think my best example of how i understood this is in my rhetoricity paper i wrote, which is linked here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DBqKEzTFQKOV0DO7mkjgTVDm_XaYwYsZSaBZUlW-_K4/edit. Another good example that show my comprehension of rhetorical knowledge would probably be my micro theme paper. i found this paper initially very difficult to write, because i feel very passionately about the subject and as a result, my initial drafts were very long and riddled with biases. but eventually, i realized how to just write it as a dialogue and not as an accusation. it is linked here  https://docs.google.com/document/d/110hNWZUs9zW6c_4Ni9W17FWUF8cEXH9IjGkl5DM_uxU/edit. ultimately the biggest thing i took from this class, is write early and revise often. i remember hearing this and thinking it was ridiculous. but by the end of the semester, i had fallen behind on my work a bit and oh boy did i wish i had written and revised earlier. procrastination was the biggest enemy of mine this semester and this mantra was exactly what i needed to do to succeed. it is not a mistake i intend to repeat.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pN34FNbOKXc&feature=youtu.be this was a video i came across while working on an assignment for my calculus class. this video just seemed to encompass what this whole first week was about for me, that how you choose to think will determine everything for you. its not the your inherent skill that will determine your success but your attitude about your situation. you can choose to always get angry or not try your best because you believe that something is inherent to you or you can choose to see the brighter side of things and always try your best. its these decisions that ultimately determine success and its in our power to just make the right chose. Personally i can learn from this because I've felt that any non-major related class isn't worth my time and as such i haven't been really putting in my full effort into these classes. eventually, should i continue to think this way, my grades will reflect my lack of effort or i can change my...
